One of my old french teachers wrote a recommendation for me

and it’s just…just the sweetest thing

Gaaaahhhhh lovely people, I will be one of you someday! One of you who makes the student-teacher relationship one something more akin to friendship with deep respect and healthy exchange. One who lets students know they matter, even after they’ve gone and graduated and bug you for help later. I’m so grateful there are such dedicated and selfless people out there, especially ones who seem to think that lil’ ol’ me is worth whipping out their highest compliments and most moving language when others inquire. Damn y’all. Tears.
